Vocabulary Acquisition

She made a brand new table cloth and put it on the table.  They sat down together for their first meal on the new cloth.  A few moments later she pointed and exclaimed, “There’s already goopy on my new table cloth!  Look!  There.  And there.  And there, too! It’s all goopy!”

He paused, fork halfway to his mouth, and stared.  Finally he queried,  “So, how long is it now before you’ll be teaching fifth grade again?”

    Melli — of course OC spilled the goopies. The fact that they are on my side of the table is purely circumstantial and does not prove anything.
